Why Klipsch earphones?

Inconsistent seal, induced pain, or simply just falling out – are some of the issues that all earbuds and in-ear monitors face. How can you enjoy your music if you didn’t even enjoy putting on your earphones or wearing them? Before we even begin to tackle the issue of acoustics, it was painfully (yes, bad ear tips hurt) obvious that we had to deal with a fundamental – comfort.

Through partnering with the Indiana University School of Audiology and obtaining countless molds of ear canals, we discovered that the human ear canal is oval, not round. This means that the entire headphone industry uses ear tips that don’t fit well in our ears. What this equates to is poorer noise isolation, unnecessary pressure on our ears, and pain after periods of extended use.

All that changed after Klipsch’s oval ear tips came along.

We first designed an oval-shaped ear tip, and then took it a step further by varying the thickness of the ear tip in certain areas, achieving an even more universal fit. We not only had more comfortable ear tips as a result, but they also provided a deeper fit and better seal, locking in your music and keeping out the noise.

Different sizes of our patented ear tips

We didn’t stop there. As every individual’s ear canal is differently shaped, we created three standard ear tip sizes, along with two more dual-flange sizes for people with deeper ear canals. A series of utility and design patents followed, and the rest is history.

Why Klipsch earphones, you ask? Improved fit, superior noise isolation and most importantly, class-leading comfor
